i just bought a mini strobe light for my car and i plan on installing this in the back of my 2k max. howver, this is the problem, its not simple plug the strobe into the power outlet and wire it and ****, this thing u have to connect to your rear brake lamps...
these are the intructions:
-install the mounting bracket on the body of the strobe light and then install it with double sided tape.(no mounting bracket given)
-after installation , tighten the adjustment screw to carry out rear angle adjustment (not given)
-connect the black/white cord to the (+) cord of brake lamp
-connect the balck cord to the body earth (-) side
i dunno how to install this to my rear brake lamp, obviously since its connected to this it will only turn on during the night time since thats when the brake lamps turn on (if its those ones they mean). i am trying to figure out how i can use a outlet plug from another light i have that broke and use it for this strobe light so i can just plug it in when i want it on and take it out when i want it off.. but i doubt i can do that. it will have to stay on all da time when the brake lamp is on.. which i dont really want.. if anyone knows how i can install this please let me know!! THANKS!
peace

Never mind I read it again, you could go to an auto parts store and get a switch, run your (+) wire to the switch, then run a wire from the switch to your battery or another live wire in the car, mount the swith where you want it, and when you want to turn it on use the switch.....
