Have a question for ya'll. I have some carb cleaner and the fuel inj cleaner. The Fuel cleaner states put it in an empty tank. Will there be a noticalbe difference in performance or fuel mileage on an 03 that has 40000 miles? I was also gonna use the carb cleaner t oclean the soot that builds up in the throttle body. Has anyone done this and any noticealbe difference?

just so you know, after you clean the throttle body, your gonna have to do idle air volume learn

 

depends on what fuel injector cleaner you use. IMO, the only thing that works is BG44K. you wont be able to tell the diffirence with cheap crap.

+1 on the seafoam. i have a write-up in the fluids section.

you really need to do all three to get all the dirt and carbon cleaned out
injector cleaner - fuel lines and injectors
carb cleaner - throttle body
seafoam - intake manifold
