Pot holes!!!!

So i was driving down the interstate, right as I was changing lanes I smashed this pothole really hard. the next day I looked at my tires on the drivers side and the had formed a big knot on them, probably b/c of hitting the hole so hard, meaning I have to buy two new tires now . My question is, do you guys think that the state of TN TDOT(Tennessee Dept. of Transportation) would pay for me two new tires b/c of their ****ty roads? Just wondering. I've got their number, so I might try to call them tomorrow just to see. It's a long shot but it's worth a try.

Give it a shot. When I lived in Cincinnati, they'd do it.

usually you have to PROVE that hole caused the damage... Good luck with that. But, I am also used to NY... Might be easier in TN.

I bent my rim on my old 6th gen a couple years back when a hit a huge pothole. Three days later the tire went flat. Fortunately, an auto shop was able to bend the rim back to normal. I'd give the city/county a call and see...you never know.
