There is a cdr stuck in my radio in my '00 maxima. the cd option wont even turn on now. its the bose system. any suggestions?

 

If it's still in warranty take it to the dealer. Any way you slice it, you will probably need to get at the radio itself. One other thing you might try would be to disconnect the battery to reset the radio, have someone in the car when you reconnect, maybe it'll spit out the CD.

 

I might be wrong, but try this.
see if you can spot a small tiny little hole anywhere on the face of the radio (looks like a dot). if you find it - stick something like a paper clip, or a hair pin inside - this should reset the radio. if you can't spot the hole - then i was wrong.

 

Uhhmm, i just checked - looks like i was wrong in the first place - sorry. try what punkdork suggested.

 

Try taking the radio apart, but whatever you do don't pull it out with force I broke a cd like that in a rent-a-car we had in Europe a year ago, lol, probably knew that already but oh well

 

i've had that same problem in a j30, and my pathfinder. try what punkdork said. if it doesn't work, take it to the dealer and they'll swat out the stereo with a replacement. they don't service the stereos at dealerships, so they ship them somewhere (clarion? nissan?) and mail you back the cd that was inside.
i wouldn't try anything too physical to get the cd out cuz if there's any apparent tampering, you're just asking for a headache with the service dept.

 

weve gotten a cd-r stuck in our Bose system too. did the cd not come out at all? cause i pressed eject and at first it was stuck in there...then like 30 seconds later it popped out...

 

I had the same problem on my 2k SE (not BOSE though).
Had no idea what to do so just left it alone. Came back the next morning and it came out. Actually, I think it came out by itself, before I even started the car. Not sure, happened over a year ago...
