Hi all who are interested. I spoke with Dave Burnette with SouthPoint Nissan today and he updated me on the various parts.

1) Stainless Steel Sill Plates have been ordered in most interior colors - available for $60.00 (non-TX residents)- that INCLUDES shipping. I got mine the other day and they look SUH-WEET.
2) AutoDim Mirror has now been made available at a VERY resaonble price. Dave will sell it to us for $176.83 - that price does not include shipping (tax free if you don't live in TX). That represents a discount off of retail.
3) Auto Shifter and Pedals will have not been made available according to recent part list (no part #)
4) Body Kit has also not been made available (no part # either). Dave is not sure whether or not they come painted. He did say that they have made custom painted mud flaps to work with the body kit.
5) Floor Mats with the anniversary edition logo are available and can be ordered in any color

That is all I know for now. I doubt he would mind if I posted his phone number - if you do, Dave, let me know, but if you would like sill plates or floor mats or to express your desire for the other products (the more demand he gets from us, the more he can push Nissan to make them available), call Dave Burnette at SouthPoint Nissan in Austin at 888-254-6060.

Thanks for doing all the dirty work, I want that shifter more than anything. The sill plates will be a nice addition too. Thanks again.

Your Welcome - it's fun. I really want the shifter, too. The more I look at mine now after seeing the AE one, the more I can't stand it.

Anyway, Dave Burnette from SouthPoint is doing most of the dirty work. I bug him pretty much every day and he nags the Nissan Reps for us.

Leather wrapped looks cheap in comparison to the metal, IMO.

Auto Dim Mirror!!!

Wow, $167 for Auto dim mirror, that is a phat deal.

Does anyone know if dealers will install it for me on my 2000 maxima??if so, roughly how much???

dont' want to break anything by trying to install it myself!!!

Also, did Dave mention how hard is it to install ourselves???

Thanks

A little transposition -it's $176, but still not bad. I'm sure if it's a 'genuine Nissan part' they would install it, but I don't know for sure.

Dave didn't say how hard it would be to install, but it comes with instructions!!!!!!

Yes, there's a nice shifter for the manual as well. I think that's already available. The engine cover is not as good as it looks in pictures, however. IMHO, it was very plastic looking.

But they won't snap on

But, the good news is that my shift **** is on the way...pics when it gets here.

I will find out for sure, but when Dave and I first talked about this subject, he said $109 per headlight - so that's $218. I'll confirm that for sure, though and let you know.

Ya Know,.....

...we should all just chip in an BUY a 20AE Max, and then part it out! Now THAT would be fun!
Bet we all couldn't agree on the color of it though!

Great job on tracking down the part numbers. Ordered the manual shift **** ($48.37), floor mats ($60.98) and sill plates ($60.00) today. The sill plates are way backordered (unless you have a tan interior, then they have a couple in stock).

Dave from Southpoint was very helpful and seems like a great guy!

Yeah, he's a really nice guy. He's friendly and likes to chat a little. I ordered the mats and the plates this morning. I told him I wanted the shifter as well. I think all my ordering is going to South Point now.

Definitely all my ordering is going through South Point. Dave has been very helpful and always keeps me up to date with everything and he is working his tail off to try to get the part numbers for the other things that everyone wants.

They have a website, too: http://www.southpointnissan.com.

Anniversary Edition Auto Shift **** & Aero Kit

Although I have yet to see this AE auto shift ****, I think that I want one. I checked w/my Nissan parts counter and here are the part #'s. Part # for AE auto shift **** is: #34910-4Y910. The part # for the AE body Kit is: #999J3-MMKH3. Prices are $111.00 for the auto shift **** and $919.20 for the AE Aero Body Kit. Has anyone installed the AE auto shift **** yet? Please reply. Good Luck.

Your 2000 mud flaps will not fit either kit. However, Nissan makes painted mud flaps that work specifically with the Nissan AE kit. I just bought them for my car and they look great with the AE kit.

The AE shift **** can be installed on a 2k but you don't indicate what year car you want to install the shift **** on. It is a hassle and would be easier to purchase the entire shift console versus trying to make it work. The cost would be higher.
