Spacers 15mm or 20mm?
Spacers 15mm or 20mm?
Hey guys I want to get some rear spacers for my Max, but I'm not sure with which ones should I go with 15mm or 20mm? I have 235/40/18 Mille Miglia Evo wheels and need a little advice with what I should go with to get that perfect/non rubing wide wheel look on the back. I've already looked at H&Rs spacers and I think I might go with them, just not sure what size would be recommended.
BTW I'm pretty sure my MM Evo rims are 18x8 but does anyone know what offset are they?

15 in the rear, 5 in front. I need better angles to accent the spacers, but right now the wheels wont go on until later in the year, and well, I don't have anymore pics aside from this one. (w/the spacers)

Post pics when you can, would love to see them again! When you post, also let me know what offset you got and all that info if possible.
NmexMAX thanks for the pic, looks pretty good but yeah it is hard to tell from that angel!
BTW what rotors did you use there on your max, any problems with them?

I think my passenger rear side sticks out more b/c i have yet to recenter my beam. But these are 15mm H&r's that are hubcentric. I took a trip over the summer and had my trunk FULL with 3 ppl in the bak. Im on maxspeeds and the tire rubbed on the tab where the bumper is bolted to the rear fender. It ONLY rubbed when hit big bumps in the road that caused the rear end to go up and down. I sanded that tab down with a dremmel.
To be honest i dont think ur gonna have a problem with that unless ur always under load. BTW.. wheels are a 42 mm offset IIRC. Hope this helped u man!!

I went with 15mm hubcentric H&R's for the rear on my car to match up with the 35mm offset 18's I have installed. Brought them out far enough for me to be happy.

I also have the 15mm spacers and I rub under hard cornering with a full tank of gas. I'd rather leave the tab intact, but I plan to recenter my beam in the spring. Hope that will eliminate the rubbing.

Check the GD section for H&R spacers. Also, the wheel/tire thread has plenty of info re: the subject. http://forums.maxima.org/forumdisplay.php?f=71

There is a write up for installing the new studs.
I got 35mm offset wheels and I have 15mm spacers in the front and 20mm spacers in the back.
That effectively makes my front 20mm offset and my rear 15mm offset.
I just rolled my rear fenders yesterday and I lowered it to a 1-finger gap. No rubbing so far.
I'm waiting on my 15mm spacers to arrive in the front (they will poke out a little more than the back obviously but I will tuck them in with a little camber.

I tried recentering mine and it didn't work for some reason! Still rubs one one side. I might need to try that again, maybe it'll work this time, but I don't know why didn't it work the first time.
