Need more details!

Who made it?
What blower does it use?
How does it mount?
How is the fuel management set up?

Need pics too.

I really hope there is a kit coming soon, I'm having some transmission work w/ VB and TQ converter at the end of February, and the end of the following month I'm planing to have some engine work as well. So my car will be ready for boost if there is a kit available by then.

If you have to ask price, you can't afford it.

why does everyone keep saying that there is no supercharger kit out there???

For under $3k you buy Matty's mount (a better clone of the Stillen setup) and hardware, source a snail and piping and some other minor parts, and you're S/C'd for under $3k.....

That only applys for the 3.0 5th Gen Maxima, not the 3.5.

From Matty's thread it seem he is going to work for a 3.5 kit as well, since he has kits available for the 3.0s.

Thats precisely my thought.. i thought matty was making it for the 3.0's not the 3.5's If matty can make it, it awesome!!! more options to choose from.

I just called yesterday to talk to the CEO and he said that its just now completed.. So i dont have pics or anything. This is gonna be very interesting to see....

Since i have an automatic....*which they are making for an auto and manual* i was thinking of getting the Phantom grip for the Differential installed at the same time of having the valve body upgraded. I'm purchasing 18 x 8.5 rims and tires.....i need all the traction i can get ! hahaha..

i realized its not fun to drive an auto compared to a stick, but damn where i live in northern VA with traffic, the auto has been good to me. besides.. with the power of a supercharger on a 3.5 *or 3.0 for that matter* even in an auto, that car is gonna be pretty dawgon quick.

I'm really looking forward to see the work they did on the 3.0.

I also have an auto, I could not find a manual at the time I purchase it. Plus I got Max for a good price and it was very well taking care of.

I purchased my max 2 years ago, and i bought it with an auto on purpose cuz i just thought it was such a sexy classy car and a chill ride. also cuz my girl didnt know how to drive a stick at the time, AND i had a 400 hp all wheel drive eclipse turbo. so that was my toy while my max is my daily driver. But i sold her and now i wanna start doing stuff to the max.

I know she's got a lot of potential. i hit 100,500 miles now and my car still hauls ***! i just hate that damn delay between 1st and second!!!!!! !!!!!

you just destroyed any credibility you had by talking about the Phantom Grip "LSD." What a piece of crap that is.......If you want to throw away money, give it to me instead.

Hey, I have this bridge in Brooklyn........

(btw, I spent 2 hours in backup behind an accident at the Wilson bridge today.....nothing wrong with a 5-speed. Keeps the left leg in shape

hahaha.. i said "thinking" but tahts because there isnt anything out there for an auto unless you know of something. and yes....i know the feeling when you have a 2600 LB clutch on an awd turbo car playing in the dc area.

We installed the Phantom on my buddies 2001 eclipse 5 speed, and it handles better than peg legging.......so thats where i got the idea from.

I wish I could do a 6-speed swap, but I'm sure that will burn a hole in my pocket and the downtime on my car.

This is the 3rd thread on the subject, and well, it's getting quite annoying that nothing has happened. We only get you telling us that it's going to happen, but never a picture or anything like that. If they do in fact have a 5g DEK set-up, I would definitely hope that this is the first place that they would try advertising.

Do you know where they got the idea to make this S/C for VQ's in the first place? Nissan is not even an option on their product line on their website. Infiniti, is, but who else has a mom, uncle, and/or sister that produces S/C's for the RWD VQ?

Is the kit only assembled, or is it running on the vehicle as well? If so, what fuel kind of fuel management upgrade is recommended? does it come with the kit?

Why haven't none of us heard about this?

Depending on the design on the current DEK kit, they may be able to add a different bracket and call it a kit for both the DEK & 3.5.

Is there a # any of us interested can call?

Judging from the lack of action, I would much rather go with an accredited 'kit' such as that from matty. Even though he hasn't done anything concrete, he has made one for the A32, and is very well capable for doing the same for the A33.

No, I'm not a naysayer, I just think it's about time we see photos, specs etc, since this IS the 3rd THREAD started by you about the same subject, but still no concrete word from anyone higher up, or pics.

well there buddy... the questions your asking were answered in the first place from the first 2 threads. I just said.. they completed the kit for the 3.0
s!!!! not 3.5's yet.. i also said they need someone to come up there within a couple of weeks.

If you want pics, go up there and take some.....how do you take pics of a 3.5 maxima setup WHEN IT HASNT BEEN DONE YET! and for the 3.0....AGAIN its just been DONE like this week!.

your asking who's idea all this was......IT WAS ME THERE BUDDY!....."I" called them, I called Cattman, I got them both to talk, and now they BOTH are making this happen, and again, THAT was posted in the earlier threads.

The company is Ripp Mods Google them up......get their number, and ask them yourself if you dont believe me.......They are a good company dealing with vortech and have for awhile.

Judging by the questions your asking me......someone hasnt read and done their homework.

I never said anything bad about Matty.. sure he's made kits for the 3.0. more power to him. He's thinking of making it for the 3.5...Again more power to him.......i stated if he did.....then there are 2 places you can get your kit from. Great.. Yay. Awesome!

And YES the kit from RIPP MODS DOES include Everything you need to install the kit, including fuel, the lines, the hardware and Ecu management. COOL? GREAAAAAAT.
