misfiring when cold/bogging when warmed up

alright, i bought the car 2 weeks ago at 117k miles

when i start up the car cold, and take off, first gear works fine, every other gear misfires bad, like the car literally jerks unless i stomp it, ok, now when it gets warm and i'm taking off and rpms get up to 3-3.5k rmps you can feel it bog, liike it loses alot of power, can u tell me what the issue is here?? i'm thinking ignition coils, but could be tons of things, spark plugs, MAF sensor, oxygen sensors or the coils, can anyone help??

My car runs crappy when it is cold, and it has been COLD here the last week or so. I have replaced the plugs, coils, MAF and had the ECU reflashed. The new MAF has helped, but the first mile or two it does lack power and chugs. After it is warm it runs fine. My 2000 SE has about 82K. There was another thread a month or so ago and some thought it could be the IACV or leaking intake manifold gaskets. Once the gaskets heat up and expand, it closes the leak and the car runs OK. Replacing the gaskets is not an easy/cheap fix, so I will live with the problem unless it gets much worse. It's probably easier to wait for warmer weather.

def MAF ,.. it is a common issue with 5 gens,... personally had the same issue and a new MAF fixed it,.. well i also had 3 coils go out one by one too,.. so u might want to look into replaceing coils with the newer green or grey dotcoils(i dont remember what color) , but do the MAF first and formost..g/l
