Wheel dilemma

Hi guys,
I'm having a huge dilemma. Can't choose between 17 and 19 inch wheels. Can I get pictures of lowered maximas with 17" and 19" wheels (must be lowered with s-tec or coilover). No body kits (front lip and OEM side okay). Thanks, Doof Doof

P.S Vote here for pix:

You can shave more weight off a 19" rim and still preserve the bling look.

Well, assuming you're not terribly concerned about optimal performance, I would definitely go with the 19's. I think 19's almost always look better than 17's. Just because a wheel is 19 inches, does NOT automatically mean its bling. The only concern is that tires will be much more expensive.

20 lbs for 17s is still too much...

IIRC, 5zigens are 16 lbs, OZ Superleggeras are 16 lbs, and Motegi Tracklites are 15 lbs, to give you some examples. Those are all 17x8s.

19's apparently offer the worst ride of the three: 18,19,20.

Can most likely get 20's for the price of 19's anyway.

My pick is 18's... waiting for the ones I want to come out. Beginning of march

I think 18's are perfect on a 5th gen Max...

19's look good in the front, but always look odd on the back...

as far as looks i think 19s are the biggest you should go on a maxima. bling but clean. 20s look like the owner tried to hard. thats just my opinion.

I like the look of 17s the best. Some bigger wheels (18s and up) can flow well, but some designs make our cars look ridiculous!

Buy my wheels.

The road conditions where you live should be a factor too. I live in PA and the road stink, I had 17"s and went 18"s and back to 17"s. Just my .02.

If you want ride quality go with the 17" .... For looks go with 19". The smaller will be cheaper both wheel + tire wise like others have suggested. The larger size tires for 19s are a bit harder to find and are expensive.

He said the wheel he wants only comes in those sizes so 18" really isn't an option unless he wants to look at different wheels which I do suggest. Sometimes you can find something that is styled the same, yet a bit cheaper or comes in the size you want. (Please don't buy replicas off Ebay though.)

I've got 19s which are nice for looks, but I'd rather have the ride from my 17s lolz. But all the compliments make the ride bearable for now

If you want looks go 19's if you want a comfortable ride go 17's or 18's. I've got 19's.

Ummm... what does 19" got to do with looks... There are 19" that look like a POS. BTW, I like your wheels.

Go with the 18's they look the best and you can still get some performance out of them.

Here is a pic......

Here is a pick of my 17s with 235/45/17 tires on H Techs. If you go 17s they cant be chunky or they look to small. I commute in my car now & I am so glad I dont have 18s like I did on my prelude.
