i am planning to go for these EURO ALTEZZA tails in future. has anyone ever had these on thier maxima or currently riding with these kind of tail lights? they look little "RICE" to me but they do look better than stock ugly looking tails. any comment?

I don't know about those lights but this guy just posted about wanting the black tails. He has the 02/03 chrome tails. He may be interrested in a trade or purchase. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=510542

I dont think they look all that bad. They look a lot like the 02-03 tails with the amber part painted. I kinda agree with you about the chrome...but they arent much different than the 02-03 tails....

OC guy: What kind of fogs are those?? Where did you get those?? How do you like them?? Im looking for some BRIGHT yellow fogs, similar to the Lexus style....almost impossible to get on our cars though...kinda curious what those that you have look like.

get the caps from HIDtech. although hard to get a hold of, its worth the effort....

on the taillights, they dont look that bad, the chrome does seem to be a lot brighter than the stock 02 tails...dunno why....but it'll look good on a white car.

I have to agree here. The capsules will look better than any yellow fogs you can pick up anywhere. The install may seem intimidating, however, it really isn't that hard. I've done it twice, once on a 5th and once on 5.5 gen. When you go to buy them from HIDtech, they will send you an email telling you it's an "intricate and delicate process". They just want you to pay them the 200 or so bucks they charge for install, it's neither. The hardest part is scraping the damn silicone off, it's tedious as hell.

If you'll take a novice's opinion on this... I personally feel that the stock tailights don't look "right" on a lighter coloured car (I have a silver 01 myself)...

The replacements that you seem to have chosen do look a bit "RICE" to me, but then some people like that. They probably wouldn't look half bad on a white body; I'm not a fan of the way they look on the car pictured, but that's just me.

It boils down to what YOU think of it though, really, since you're the one that will have to look at it daily.

you know you can edit a post to add an additional sentence. instead of reposting something with a new sentence

"people like you" = newbies that start stupid threads asking for opinions then get upset when they dont get the opinions that they like.

everyone has the right to ask questions on this board. if it was forbidden then why newbies get to start new thread after several posts?

yes, you have the right. but with that right comes the understanding that you will follow the rules and guidelines of the forum.
