For those of you who are clean freaks and have a sunroof, how do you clean the top of the shade? I have tried tilting it upward to get to it, but still too small for a vacuum. Is there any way to get the shade out??

Or what if you bent a hangar to a 90 degree angle and wrapped a big piece of masking tape at the end. Don't use the tilt feature, but slide the shade back just a little bit and stick the hangar in and slide it around.

i say open the sunroof a little bit(open it not tilt it, like halfway) then you can slide the shade as far up as you can and then you 'll have some access to it, maybe with the flat vaccuum piece like someone mentioned. i don't know, i'm just trying to visualize this in my head right now. i'll go take a look later.

well...
you could use one of those long computer accessory attachments for your vac. They are available at home depot.
the sunroof is held on by 4 very accessible bolts. I would imagine its a 5 min job. However, given the problems many have had with the switch (auto close), alignment might be a problem. It looks pretty easy... but you could very easy mess up some VERY expensive glass. hmmmm...
I would try the vac attachment first.

yeah, i know you can't slide it forward once the roof is opened.. i thought there would have been a big enough opening by opeing it halfway and then trying...........
but i don't clean it anyway, it's pointless to me....what's the difference if it's clean or dirty?? i can't see it. that's just my opinion.
