I'm really sorry guys, I could only manage 16.1 at 90.5 mph.
I had 3 runs, but it was same every time.
I have OSCAI with k&n and cattman y-pipe.
Is it my skills? or is it the car?
16.1 !!
That is not right.
ps. There were about 100 muscle cars running 11s and 12s.

WHOA!
You should be running alot better than that, especially with the 5 speed. I ran better than that with the same mods and I have the automagic.
What were your reaction times?
What was your 60 ft time?
Those are things that you should look at and get them to be as fast as possible, and then you will see an improvement at the other end, go back and just keep trying, you'll get better.

I am so dissappointed, with the powers I'm putting down at the wheels, I should do much better.

Reaction time has NOTHING to do with your elapsed time or speed in the 1/4 mile.
It only matters if you are racing against someone - because on the drag strip the winner is whoever gets to the finish line first NOT who has the lowest e.t. or the highest trap speed.
So in this case if your r/t is 3 seconds or a perfect .5 - you would still finish with 16.1
To learn how to drive your car FORGET about reaction time for now - concentrate on your launch.
Your 60' times are horrible. I would guess that you are either sitting there spinning or are bogging down really bad.
The consensus best way to launch is to rev to 3500-4000 and hold it there. Then, keeping the gas at that same point, let the clutch out PARTIALLY to the point just before your tires start to spin (practice). As soon as you've got traction let out the clutch the rest of the way as you give it more gas. Always trying to keep your tires from spinning but at the same time keeping your rpms high around 4000 +-.
You don't need to go to the track to practice this technique either! olice:
Do a search of the forum for more detailed discussions - but your problem seems to be the launch.

My personal best (so far)
I went to New England Dragway last night, my second time there. My previous best ET was 16.030 @ 86.78mph with 2.463 60'. Ambient was in the 80's. Last night I set a new best on my first run with a 15.896 @ 87.46mph with 2.415 60', ambient 72 deg. And a .560 R/T!
My car had no spare or anything in the trunk, and 1/4 tank of gas. Air pressure was 28 Front/32 Rear. I moved shifter as tach passed 6000 rpm which made it shift around 6400-6500 rpm.
