Sub stopped working

It's been cutting in and out either working or not. It hasn't been working for a week now. I checked the wires on the sub itself and nothing looks frayed.

Any ideas?

there are several things to check, if the sub amp turns on when the deck is on and the amps power cuts in and out could be that the remote turn on wire is not presenting a constant 3v causing the amp to turn on/off. a relay will fix this problem. Another possibility is your power or ground wire to the amp? not a secure or clean ground will cause the power to cut in and out. Is this the only amp you are using? or do you have multiple amps? do they cut in and out? hope this helps?

He's using the stock bose setup as stated above.

This is a very common problem to which there has been no solution. Search and you will see.
