HID Replica vs. OEM

Is there a noticable difference from the ebay replicas vs OEM? I bought a Depo fog light before and had leakage, so I hope I'm not buying that same quality. Anyone have any insight?

I hear that the ballasts aren't as good as OEM.

I bought Depo AE Headlights. A few fitment issues., but no leaking. Looks much better than regular 01 headlights.

i used those brand new ebay oem replica headlights for my tsx retrofit...well the fitment wasn't too good...driver side was good but passenger side has a gap. the quality looks ok but there's like scratch marks on the paint inside the headlights. can't comment on fogging issue because mine were opened and sealed using those nissan sealant stuffs (btw those are really good ) the ballasts are philip ones and bulbs were philips too. ballasts seem to be a good brand.

lowincash., my depo's are the same thing. Passenger side PERFECT. Drivers side has a small gap. But the AE looks so much better that its worth it.

Why even bother buying the depo's? I was patient and was able to find OEM HID's for ~$120 shipped per side.

That is very cheap. E-bay?

I got a set of OEM's now too, I cannot wait to open them open them up and paint them...though I think Ill be leaving the amber lens in them.

Yes, Ebay. I've noticed the prices have been deflating fairly rapidly on HID stuff lately. Even on drop in kits. I just finished painting mine too and replacing the amber part. I'm about to post a thread that should help you out.
