Did you guys see this on the nissannews.com site about the brakes on the 2k2.

"The Maxima’s “cut above” performance is reinforced by a refined engine-speed-sensitive power rack-and-pinion steering and enhanced 4-wheel disc brakes with 16 millimeter larger front discs and 4-channel/4-sensor Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)."

I just thought you guys might like to know that nissan has somewhat fixed the brake problem on the 2k2. So now it will take 36,001 miles before they warp, not 15k miles.
