i was in Flushing today (nyc) and i ran into a friend i hadnt seen in a while. i told him i got a new car while we were eating lunch. when i had parked the car i hear i ran over a glass bottle, i know thats bad, but nothing has happened before. so when im driving him home, i hear a thump thump thump noise, i get out to see my flat. right rear tire. so i pull over and fix it. it was a 1 inch cut on the side. i dont know if it was from the glass i broke, or someone might has slashed it? i hope it was the bottle and not some jerk. right now i have the ugly spare on, im getting a new tire tomorrow. damn these cheap toyo's.... there so thin!

Time for you to get new wheels. I recommend some Volk Racing TE37's wrapped with Potenza SO2.

i had the same problem, nail in sidewall so it couldn't be patched. ended up buying a set of yokohama intermediates for 98 each. pretty cheap considering its performance, even tho it's not the latest and greatest. helluva lot better stock for sure. just my two cents.
