Pic teaser: Headlights - Gloss Black, Cleared, DDEs by X-Vert

So here is a crappy teaser pic of what X-Vert from NYCMaximas did for my headlights:

- Custom Gloss Black / Stock silver painted housing (idea credited to MaxBoost925)
- Cleared Amber w/ Malibu Lenses
- White E46 LED Daytime Devil Eyes (eBay)
- Old eyelids will be replaced with "Xtreme Fiberglass Eyelids" (purchased from The Law's old GB)

Once the car is finished, the headlights will be polished, cleaned and better pics will be taken. If you can't really notice the glossy-ness of these lights, look towards the bottom of the DDEs, and see their reflection.

Sure, when I get home later today, I'll post up some pics of them looking down. I'll also post a pic of the other headlight, which is new, so the clarity is better.

Maximus86, PM sent. But for everyone else, you can find them on eBay, search E46 Angel Eyes White, and you'll find them. They are about 24.99+shipping and yes they do fit.

You know, I'm about to go and bake my lights liek in 5 mins because one of them started condensating.

I have to use the silicone sealant that I just bought as well.

As far as the painting, I believe X-Vert took them to a body shop and had them professionally painted. All I know is that they are glossy black!

That's pretty nice. You have to separate the lens from the assembly to do that, right? If so, do you get any condensation? Just curious. Also, you said you were gonna polish the lights, did you mean the outside lens, and if so, how would you polish them, mine are getting a bit cloudy.

Wow, that's nice! Curious to see how the gloss will reflect/refract the light esp. at night.

Yes, Malibu lens, matches the clearance light perfectly.

Maxboost, that is where I disagree. I will have an amber bulb, but I hate amber on a car. Unless its JDM, then they pull it off quite nicely.

PM X-Vert. He does them custom, these are not something found on eBay or anything like that. These were stock 02-03 HID headlight housings, then everything was done to them.

Maybe you can try doing it yourself. The hardest part could maybe be the paint job. There should be a 'how-to' on it somewhere. But then again, if you're not so confident around using the basic tools (flat head screw driver, etc.), then I guess you should let someone else do it.

Cause if they cant tell the difference im all for it. I have the headlights just need to find time to do it. I now have 3 headlights purchased from ebay i have my receipts to send if anyone will be willing to assist me with installation.
