I recently bought the SS Y from Cattman through the group deal. I called Midas to see if they would put it in but they said if it moves any of the cats they won't touch it because of $2500 fines that they could get from the state. If I remember right, the Y pipe removes one of the converters right? Where could I get this put on if this is the case? I live 40 min north of SF.
Another thing-Doesn't the Cal Y Pipe come in two pieces? Mine came in one without any installation instructions. Please help!!!!

I believe Cheston has install instructions on his site. You will not be able to get it installed unless you have connections. But still it shouldn't take more than 4 hours of your time in the drive way. I would pocket the install fee and get a RSB .

All I have is a car jack. Is that enough?

It's always a good idea to have a gigantic hammer just in case frustration sets in.

You'll need one special tool: o2 sensor wrench.

No, that's not enough. For safety reasons you should get either ramps or jack stands and chucks for the rear wheels. I wouldn't crawl underneath a car if the only thing holding it up was just a jack.

I looked at the instructions at Cheston's web site. They instructions were so vague. Is it really that simple to install this piece. There isn't a mention of an O2 wrench on his site. Is there another place I can find a more detailed instruction that goes step by step with all the tools I need?
