In the long term test of the new Lexus high performance coupe (I forget the model) they had a fender bender.
A new headlight assy was $1,600! What a joke. I bet even Ferrari could beat that price. I'ld be surprised if a Maxima head light is over $200, anyone know?

I wonder how many Insurance Companies are re-thinking their policy rates on that model?

Hmmmm

You think that's bad, try ordering the new HID's for 2002 max from the dealers.

Thats crazy, the headlights for the 2001 AE are like $259 a piece from Couresty Nissan, I'm thinking about getting them for my max.. Not sure how much the other models are... But if a Lex is that much I wonder how much a S600 Benz is???

$1600!!

Imagine how much the new Q45 healamps would be! They have like 7-optically "tuned" bulbs plus running and turning lamps.

Those things are BRIGHT! They smoke regular HIDs' output.

I have the AE bronzed headlights on my car and I spent 300 for a pair. It looks good and I think it changed the whole look of my car. Dont spend that much though, $600 for AE headlights I would tell them to kiss my a*s. Good luck

Actually, it's only one bulb, but 7 lenses that focus it, and I read somewhere (I think on freshalloy.co) that each assembly costs $1800!
