P1800...common with O2 sensor code?
I got an SES yesterday on my way to work and had my mechanic pull the code this morning. While the machine was on my seat, I looked over to see "Oxygen sensor...bank..." as the first code, couldn't remember what it was, and the second was "P1800-VIAS Control Solenoid Valve Circuit Open." My question is, will a bad O2 sensor cause me to get that second code? Never had an SES before. The mechanic flashed the ecu and said if the SES light returns, come back.
No, it was a quick thing while i was on my way to work, I was writing them down when someone called me and didn't get to write the o2 sensor one. I'm just wondering if it really could be 2 different things as I never got a code before
i too have that code . it related to some water coolant temperature, i have the code scanner book but too lazy to go outside. for some reason it remains a pending code, i'm unable to erase it. plus if i rev too hard my crank malfunction code comes along with it.
