Got a fitment question

Hey guys I am gonna be going to the track this weekend with a bunch of people from our local car club. I am looking at imporving on my times from last time I went to the track and then I remembered my friend has a supra we are building up. Right now the car is down but it has 275width Nitto 555s on the back and he has Mk4 rims. We got the idea that hey maybe those rims will fit on the front of my car and so I checked the bolt pattern and what do you know they fit, ok so I check the offset... hmm its around +40 I believe. I dont know if that will fit. I honestly dont know rims fitment well because I have never taken to time to look at rims.

Also what dawned on me is that my RX7 rims are the same bolt pattern as my I35 too and I have nitto drag radials on that car too. Not mention I could use those rims as track rims if they fit. They are 16 x 7 and 16x8 and weigh 17lbs each.

Anyway let me know what you think on fitment. There is an altima in the group that has been gunning for me for a while so I am going to be racing him as well as a bunch of other cars WAYY faster than me.

Put them on and see if they fit?

I don't think they will clear your brakes though.

How wide are they? 9"? I have +40 rims 8" wide and they fit fine on my 4th gen. If those rims do fit it would be close. The RX7 rims would probably be a better bet and they would have a lot less drag. 275s on a Maxima seems excessive to me.

I would assume they would clear my brakes.. I meen the supra has even larger rotors and calipers. Thats no garuntee they will work with my setup but thats what I am assuming.

The rims are 17x9.5

I am more worried about the offset... The 6th gen brakes do not clear 00-01 17's because of the offset and spoke design on the back.
