Your exhaust will melt it and it will fall off.
True story.
Get the Stillen one.

I had the ABS before I got the Stillen. Never melted nor a hint of melting. Couldn't tell the difference. A friend of mine gave me the stillen when he sold his car, other wise I would still have the abs.

If you are trying to save some loot then go with the abs. Just make sure your exhaust isn't sitting on it.

Your exhaust doesn't have to sit on it for it to melt.

Again... I had it for a minute and never had any problems. I've got the evo II and it gets extremely hot. Then again... maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones.

Again you are wrong. I used to own a EvoII and it melted my stock bumper. The fitment was good and I had about 1/4" of space between my stock bumper and the EvoII but it still melted my bumper and stuck onto my bumper.

I have a ABS Dynamics rear lip.

My Cattman muffler melted it. My new GReddy EVO2 clears it by a lot.

My body shop had to give my lip a "haircut" because it was melted.

How are you going to tell me that I'm wrong? It was my lip... rear valance... I think I would know if my $hit was melting or not right?

To the thread starter man... If you are looking to save some money then go with the ABS. Some people like myself never had any problems where as others like Law here has. Make the decision yourself.

Orgullo is right, most people have not had a problem with the ABS rear lip.

Does not matter if you have Stillen, ABS or the stock bumper... If you exhaust is too close... It will melt it. My stock bumper started to melt because my Cattman tips were too close to it.

so is it impossible for the stillen rear lip to melt?
seems like it just has to do with where the exhaust is placed -.-

Mine is touching my Cattman on the right side and only the paint has melted off. I need to fix this still. Readjust the exhaust or valance.

LOL I was joking with ya, cuz it seems like everytime you jump on a thread you get flamed LOL.

With the ABS kit there are people who have had melting issues, no question. Where with the stillen kit there is not one, This seems like a vary easy decision to me. whay are we still talking about it? Spend the extra money for the security of the stillen.
