I just ordered Stillen Classic lip for 2k. When I called Stillen to place an order they told me that I'm in luck cuz Classic lip for 2k~2k1 is on special price for $175 plus shipping, after I checked my bank account the amount that was deducted out from Stillen was $224.99 and I called Stillen asked I thought it was on special price and they told me it is so I bought the lip for $175 and shipping was $49.99 for UPS ground. I'm not sure if it is just me or something I felt like I paid normal price for that thing. They told me that now a days UPS is costing more to ship out the bigger boxes, I know the box was big but it was only 12LBs. Sorry for the long post guys....I just wanted to let it out...

 

I heard there was a newbie working at Stillen. Back then, they folded the lip up compactly and therefore they shipped it in a small package.

The newbie there says you CANNOT fold it at all (ironic because it's urethane)

Therefore he ships it in a HUGE box - hence your shipping price. I would call to complain.

 

Yea its $40 for shipping, when I bought my full kit it was $800 + $40shipping.
Everything came in this box the front lip and rear balance were folded:

you bought your lip for $224.99 shipped?? btw Max lookin good...I guess mines gonna look jus like yours except I got the SS grills. I'll post pix soon as I get it on my max.

I remember a while ago they were selling 5.5 gen side skirts for 250 but shipping was 150 LOL

 

hmm i brought the stillen front lip for 02-03 model for $200 + $50 for shipping.. this was probably in Jan or Feb of 07. I guess yours was $20 off? $50 shipping for just the front lips? =X i was looking at the prices for the side skirts + the rear valence.. total shipping was $76 or so for the 3 pieces

 

average cost of paint for a front lip??

 

I called Stillen and they told me that UPS is charging more for the big boxes. I was like box might have been big but it only weighs 12lbs and $49.99 for UPS ground shipping?? thats pretty outrageous.
