brake light must light AND REFLECT red.
if the tailights doesnt havent an incorporated red reflector, the car has to have a red reflector somewhere else (like the lexus RX has on the bumper)

also, how are they "Euro" taillights, exactly?

1. IIRC the "Altezza" look came from a...Japanese....car.

2. IIRC Maximas in Europe have i30/i35 taillights

I tried these (clear lenses but with chrome housing) and do not recommend them. The brake lights are NOT visible in the daytime with the sun to your back. The light visibility is actually worse than my TA which has the old school hard plastic tinted taillight covers. I tried several differerent bulbs (including LED) with no luck. The amber turn signals were fine, it is the red that doesn't work well with clear lens.
The RX uses well designed LED's that do the job, but what's the point if you have to have an additional red assembly in the bumper .
Incandescent bulbs or the type of LED's we can use just don't cut it. I was tempted to try the sypder lites http://www.spiderlite.com/, but gave up and went with the "all red" Gen 5.5 tails.
