Projector headlight Question

I have a problem with these projectors. One of the rings died (around the high beam).

Is there a way to disconnect the halos around the high beam lights?
There are 2 wires going there. One white and one red.

Please look at the picture below.

I think the most important question is why did you change your OEM's for crappy eBay projectors.

Hopefully someone can answer your question though...

I'm in the same boat only the ring died around my low beam. My friend and I are going to work on it in about a week or so. Did you do the retrofit with the HID's or are they still the stock projectors?

I'm with sooner though

The red and white wires below the high beam seem responsible for the halos.

What if I cut those?

edit: There is gotta be a away to remove the led (around the high beam).
Anyone with pics or directions ? This will really be appreciated.

Are you looking to remove the halos? Or replace the LEDs so they light again? If latter, go to Dr. Roy's cardomain, he has a DIY.

I just purchased 50x super white 5mm 40,000 mcd LEDs off ebay for $14.00 shipped. Twice the mcd rating Dr. Roy used so I'm curious to see how they will look.

we did help you...perhaps your not listening

DISCONECT THE WIRES TO THE OTHER HIGHBEAM HALO.....NO WIRES = NO POWER = NO HALO LIGHTING UP.

you got that?
