Help Please

What up all? well the string of luck continues and it is rubbing off on the max. I had a brake and bat. light come on at the same time and the alternator was making an obvious noise. when that light's would stay on after a while when i would step on the brakes my car wouldnt die but acted as if i was about to. if in drive i got no action from the gas pedal, shift it to Neutral and then the pedal would be active again. After a couple days passed, even after reving it i could not get the car to respond when put back in gear.

The alternator was changed today at 2:30 and it did the same crap on the freeway so i had to pull off and shut down. The car would not start again and clicked as if the battery was dead. after a jump my car made it back about 4 miles to my house and died again and didnt start. to shorten the story my car was towed home and i am ripping my hair out trying to figure this out.

Even a hunch would help me out at this point.

thanks all

-Stanley

I would definatley say battery or altenator related. Those same lights poped on when one of my belts snapped last year and it was because the altenator was no longer being driven. I would pull the battery and take it down to the nearest auto shop and have it tested. That or take the entire ride down there and have them check the new altenator as well.
