I know this may seem crazy to ask, but I havent seen or read of anyone doing it. The rear windows on the Maxima only go down halfway and although I do not sit in the back, I would like to have the rear windows open all the way down. My friends 07 TL does that and I really like the look of it. Is it possible to do this to a 2001 max? Is it easy to do? Thanks.

 

Take apart your door panel and let me know if you think you can do it...

 

The windows will not go all the way down. It is not a safety issue, it's a design issue. Look at the door from the side, the window would be in the wheel well.

 

Gotcha... that sux, I really would've liked it to go further.

 

remove your rear wheel and you will have room

 

At least it's not as lame as a Lexus. They always look broken to me because they go down at an angle.
