Can someone provided me with a VIN number so I can find out if Nissan will gimme a price on a intake manifold. They want me to give them a VIN Number first.

Call another dealer. No parts department I've ever contacted wanted a VIN number for a price.

Why can't you just give them your VIN?

As posted above, they shouldn't require you to give them a VIN, but it may just be a roundabout way to help them identify the year of the car.

I also recommend www.car-part.com for these things.

when i locked my keys in my 00, i took my VIN to the dealership. without any proof of ownership, they cut the key for the car.
granted you need the car and key at the dealership to program it to start the car, but a cut key can get you inside the car.
