Suspension problems.

I own a 2002 SE with a little over 70k miles on it. My suspension was fine until a few months ago when i made a few trips to NYC. Now, my right hand side front suspension is making a lot of noise when I hit even the smallest pot hole. I lifted the car up moving the wheel with my hands, I didn't notice anything out of ordinary nor did I hear any strange sounds. The sound that i hear when on the road resonates throughout my front suspension and makes me cringe when I'm about to hit a hole. I was told to replace the struts..I am looking at tokico blues at the moment..I have stock springs and plan to keep it that way...The roads here are pretty bad but nothing like NYC. Should I be replacing my strut mounts as well? I didn't notice any damage on them...Any help is welcome =) thanx

honestly, I doubt that the mounts are the problem. The right front strut on the 5th gen maximas are known to go bad before the others for some reason.

So do you guys recommend tokico blues? I was also looking at KYB GR2s which are pretty much the same price. Are they worth putting on with the stock springs?

Get the KYB's, the tokico blues paulypotz above had on his and the ride was pretty harsh. I've read the the KYB's are almost comparable to the stock struts comfort-wise.
