suspension prob.

hi
i know the suspension threads are often but i search the sticky and i serched the web but i couldnt find anything exactly like mine. well i changed my front struts and springs a week ago, i have tokico blues and eibach, and i know that its normall for them to make noise for few days, but it only makes noise on the passenger side when i turn my steering wheel. its like a klincking noise. doesnt matter if im turning left or right and it only does it once on each direction. its not that loud but you can notice it with the windows up the the radio off. is this normall?

Is it only when it is full lock? Could be the bump stop clank.

Nope its your strut mounts. Put your hand over your spring and see if there's friction. It happened to my car, 4 strut mounts later, problem solved. There is a faulty bearing in that side of the strut mount and it pulls the spring making it click when you turn the wheel.

Is it more noticeable when your moving slowly? Or if your stopped and turning your wheel? Just place your hand over the spring and have someone turn the wheel. If you feel the srping bounce/get pulled on then its the strut mount. What happens is a bearing in the mount is bad and causes the friction to not make the spring move smoothly.

Did you mount the springs yourself? Could also be that you didn't seat the spring on the strut properly. If you look at the bottom of the strut you see a groove the the spring has to stop against. You can check that as well. If it isn't that then it's got the be the mount. Good luck man.
