getting "service engine soon" light after cleaning air filter
I cleaned my air filter today and i noticed that when I was putting everything back together, the thin black rubber washer that goes between the maf and the piece that connects to the intake kind of came unglued and so I had to wedge it in there the best I could. First time, I didn't notice it was all the way in because the car was stalling and so I i put it in there as best as I could, but I'm still getting the "service engine soon" light. I did notice that there is a watery substance coming from where the maf and the piece that connects to the intake. I'm guessing there is a vacuum leak somewhere, but if that is the case, do I need that black washer or can I just connect the two together without it?
