Yup, mine gets same code all the time.

Has to do with the butterfly mechanism and VIAS valve.

The code goes in pending state for a while then get stored after so many times of being triggered. I have not been able to find out what the reasoning is. Can only think that the butterfly either stays open too long or closed too long which causes the trigger.

By the way, that is the GENERIC code for P1800 used by most car manufacturers. Nissan uses same code for Nissan specific reporting. Reason for the difference between the code reader and Nissan FSM and/or CONSULT II reading.

I have not seen that one before, but it may trigger only occasionally because the VIAS only operates above a certain RPM? If you don't drive this way often, then the code would not set.

I would suggest that you check the solenoid valve in the system for 2 things: power and operation.

It's definately working. Correctly? I don't know, but it is working.

I read a lil in the FSM on how to test, but have not gotten around to it yet.

Car has no evidence of driveability issues, so...

So you never bothered to do a diagnostic test to try and find out what it is?
