Oh my......here it comes

I think these tails will fit fine. However, many people on this org hate them. Many on here prefer the black SE tails.

I'm not going to start it, but I will say clear lense = illegal in (probably) all states. Not a fan of the clear look, but I prefer the 00/01 SE or 02/03 chrome tails.

For $100 I can think of a lot of better things that I can spend on. I'll sell you a Nismo sticker along with a JDM LED washer nozzle that add up to 20whp.

I'm just kidding. I dont think they will light up bright enough at night. Just take a look at the bulbs in the picture

tails must light AND REFLECT red.

the tails you want arent AE...they are from all 00/01 SEs.

I never received a single ticket from the authories and if they are? they just busting your chops. They emit red(led), top and bottom. Many people here are Maxima Zombies and stick to the same (Monkey see Monkey do thing) crap. Do what you like sir.

did you notice on that website the taillights are pictured upside down

i personally like the 01/02 se lights and the 02/03 chromes but tinted like the se lights just dark enough that some of the chrome effects still shine through i've seen a few people with it

Just because you haven't gotten a ticket for it doesn't make it any less illegal. I have 17% tint, which is illegal in TN. Haven't gotten a ticket for it, though (knock on wood). And I have been pulled over once (illegal left turn.... bastard!). Like sooner already said, no red reflector = illegal. I've actually called the local po-po and confirmed this (way back when).

Oh boy here we go again. Apparently the person who started this thread is not familiar with Standard 108. Now I am just waiting to see a post with a pic of the Lexus RX 330.

i dont see what the big deal is... they are nice tail lights, and who cares if they are oem or not - if you like them, get them... headlights would be a different story, headlights are more important that tail lights.. but i'm sure the quality of these taillights wouldn't be too far off.. i bought similar ones w/ red and clear, and the quality of them seems fine.. i bought them for LED upgrade though..

Sil: That is legal because it has a small little red reflector on the bumper. So I assume, and this is an assumption, that If this kid sticks a little reflector on his bumper then he'll be legal.

Like spence said. If it's not OEM then it's Rice... Mad Tyte Yo... Whatever.

Get em... I think they are straight and look nice. Put your Red lights in so at night they are red. These guys are going to knock **** regardless. Especially so called org vice squad.

By the way man... your opinion counts just like everyone else here. You'll have to excuse this guy and a couple of other so called Veterans. He seems to think the rules don't apply to him.

As long as there is a red reflector on the back or the car, those are legal.

I purchased the same ones. Plan to paint the brake light spot with the same red paint people use on their 02-03 amber blinkers. Will the reflector reflect red? No. Will they still be illegal? Yes. Will it be the first thing on my car illegal? No, sorry. I have a CF Hood (against safety regulations), clear corners (do not reflect amber in front/ red in rear) and my tint is too dark. Hopefully they will turn out well, but a bit of advice: don't take what people say on the internet as opinion to heart.

I think they're ugly being all clear in the middle. If you could have a red center they would look better.
