I have a serious dilemma, i live with my brother in law in a 2 family house. He ALREADY put money down on a 02 ALTIMA.

I dont know what to do, should i key it? maybe he will know.
Should i crash it with my dads ford taurus?

AHhhhh, at least he is not getting the V6 Option.

The 02 altima xenon headlights are going to make me cry of jeoulosy. I feel like King Lear betrayed by his daughter/s.

he has seriously already put money down on a BRAND NEW car that hasn't even been released yet that's full of potential problems that hasn't even been reviewed or test driven by the automotive press, and that he himself hasn't even test driven the thing???

ummmmm...no offense to your brother in law, but he doesn't sound like a very smart guy.

Back when I was in high school (early-mid 90's) one of our neighbors did that with a then-new Ford Taurus wagon - bought it without even sitting in one. And it turned out that they didn't even fit well in the damned thing!!!

They suffered for a few years regretting their poor decision everday until they got very lucky and a Jiffy Lube screwed up an oil change such that all of the oil drained out of the engine on the way home and seized that puppy up.

They sued Jiffy Lube and settled out of court, junked the car and got a new one that they TEST DROVE FIRST and then bought it

I hope that he has a way out of this somehow in case of stuff like that, but it sounds from your post that he's already signed the paperwork and everything!!!

 

So how is a 4cyl Altima superior to your GLE? I would personally only be interested in an Altima if it was the 3.5. IMHO, even then they aren't that attractive.

Whenever he talks smack about anything just ask him to race.

Yes how is an Altima superior to your Max and you even have the GLE! Altima's never will have the recogniton of the MAX and the resale is worse than the MAX!

 

Unless if it is a 5spd, you shouldn't worry. You have .5l, 2 cyl, and 32 hp on him.
