In case you didn't already know, there is a group buy going on for the Unorthodox Racing Pulleys (UDP) for 95-01 Maxima's. Most have rated them at 8-10HP gain.
Here's the link to the group buy:
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....threadid=51521
There's some good info at http://www.maximadriver.com under the HOW2 section. Click on "Install an Underdrive Pulley"

Yeah, it definately is a good deal... I figured I will save over $50.00. If you take $189.00 and divide it by 8HP, it costs like $23.63 per 1HP. Not bad at all...
Compare that to some of the other mods. Using Avalon Racing's numbers:
Stillen High Flow Intake: $35.82 per 1HP
Stillen Exhaust System: $68.40 per 1HP
Stillen SuperCharger: $44.50 per 1HP
Cattman Y Pipe: $26.66 per 1HP
Not that you could compare a UDP to an SC, but bang for buck isn't bad.

Something to consider...
Most of the mods we do to our Maxima's result in increases that show up in the mid to upper RPM range. i.e. Intake, Y-Pipe, Exhaust
The UDP results in low end torque, which makes a difference in your 0-60. Ask anyone who has one.

I've seen dyno numbers of 4-5hp on 140hp 2.0-liter Sentra motors that were pretty much stock. So, I don't think 8hp on a 3.0-liter is unrealistic. It does depend on the amount of drag reduction though. Also, the Sentras' have UDPs for the altenator and A/C.
