TRUE CAI using a altima batery tray?

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ce=&cardist=46

sorry, i don't have better pics, but if you look at the battery tray its side ways (unlike hte 5,5)...if that could be made to fit a 5.5 then you could route a air intake into the hole under the 5.5's batery right? Hell get the stock intake from a altima and route a tube into the opening.

am i just dreaming? looks like it will work (prolly need some fabbing)

Why don't you just turn your batter tray sideways and do your own intake set up? Here... look...

It has since been cleaned up and extended into the hole. The cone sits inside the fender now.

looks like you cut your own hole, i though there was alredy a hole there under the from the factory.

i was looking at the stock intake today and i might try cutting off the cylender on hte bottom of hte factory scoop and routing in into the fender and leaving hte stock intake...in theary gicing more cooler air to motor and retaining hte low end....eliminating hte GAB and sucking in of hot engin air.
