I was looking at used 2000-2001 Maxima's at around $19-21,000k

I see 2001 NEW maximas listed at 24k MSRP in Dallas newspaper ads and a couple weeks ago thought they listed them as 4k off MSRP? right?

Basically I have no clue what I am talking about

How much should a new 2001 GXE/SE be going for in this area and how much should a used 2000 GXE/SE go for?

Seems like now would be the time to buy. let me know.

Can someone explain the difference between invoice, msrp and all of that for me?

thanks

Check out www.carsdirect.com , you can get a 2K1 GXE Max for $19,600 + theres a $500 cash back on GXE 5spd max's right now so $19,100 will get you a totaly unloaded Maxima.
I personaly am waiting to see what type of deals come about on Augoust 1st. My local dealer said to expect $2000 cash back come Augoust. So you will be able to get a 2K1 GXE from carsdirect for $17,600! Not bad at all . If you are buying a Automagic I whould wait until the end of Augoust begining of Septemeber to buy because there are tons of Autos still around but 5spd are becoming very rare.

Hmmm, carsdirect doesn't sell, lease, or finance in Texas.

I strongly suspect good deals to pop up come August 1st. Thats what my dealer said anyways and thats what I figured too. Right now in the R.I. area {New England} there are 13 Black GXE 5sdp and 2 sunlit sand 5spd GXE Max's available and there are like 500 Auto's, LOL. I can't amagine driving a Auto max, 5spd are a lot quicker and way more fun. I guess if the streets are always jammed were you live I whould maybe think about a Auto.Good luck finding what you are looking for.
