Found out that Crutchfield is selling a 6 disc changer that works for those that didn't get it, but wish they had. Here's the link.

Weird description...

"You bought a Nissan, and now the dealer is telling you that adding a CD changer will cost you several hundred dollars."($459)
Yet the US Sec CD changer costs several hundred dollars...hehe($299)

At least its $160 cheaper yet uninstalled.

Hell I had no idea they cost that much to begin with...my isuzu trooper has a 6 disc changer too...its pretty neat...you put each one in the same slot and they eject out of the same slot. (There is no cartridge)

how large is OEM changer? I'm about to order a changer and I want to install in glove box. I think usa spec might fit in glove box. If you can look at manual please tell me dimensions. Thanks.

Currently they are selling the changer for $313 and the mounting kit for $40. Did you get a discount since you were buying two, or did they just raise their prices.

You do need the mounting hardware. Make sure you mention you are from maxima.org. $299 to $313 might just reflect a change in the price from 2000 to 2001.
