Delayed Throttle Response

I am just wondering what could cause this. When i rev my engine it takes like .5 seconds or so you move the throttle. When i rev it from under the hood i really can hear the delay. is there something that causes this? my car is a 2k and 5 speed

You should try the simple stuff maintenance wise first if you havent?

1. Tune Up- How many miles? Over 80k id def rec new plugs
2. Seafoam
3.Physically clean throttle body with carb cleaner and toothbrush.

Good luck
