I've been checking these guys out:

www.baumtools.com

Pretty pricey, but they have one that runs on my Palm Pilot so I don't have to lug around a laptop while cruising.

http://www.obd-2.com/ I've never tried it for myself, but it looks good. I might be getting one soon. I can get them up to 40% off in a group buy. PM me for details.

yes..

basically, you query the ECU for a 'data stream', then you map that to a guage. kid's stuff. this thing is super easy to use and so inexpensive. Although I need a FSM to know exactly what spec is on everything

here's some screen caps off my laptop and the max.

Some of you requested that I post information about ordering obd 2 scanners at a discount. The discount is through a group buy at www.tauruscarclub.com. If you go there, it is the first article on the page. This discount is open to anyone, thus, you don't have to be a tcca member. The link to the forum is the wrong link and hasn't been updated, so use this link http://www.tauruscarclub.com/phpBB/v...107&forum=4&24
. Unfortunatly, the discount for the indo 3 and tricom has gone down to 30%. I believe the rest is still 40%. My handle on that board is SE 2 SHOSE. Lemme know if anyone wants any more info.
