$680 is a bit steep I think. Koni's are great shocks though. They won't wear out as fast and are adjustable. The tokicos are straight bolt ons though. The Konis for the front require you to use the stock strut housing and some modification to the top hat. If you want a smooth ride, you could go with a combination of H&R springs with tokicos.

Thank you, thank you very much.
Gotta warn you though, smooth is relative when it comes to aftermarket products. Toks might be "smoother" than Konis but it's still stiff compared to stock SE which is already more stiff than your typical sedan suspension.

yo... i dont know about that... it sounds too high for me. if i were you, i would probably look for a group buy for the tokikos for around $300ish. and installation should cost you no more than $180... for a grand total of $500. my advice to you is to look around.

Do a search on West Coast, you might find cheaper shops. Personally I got it done at a place that charged me $125 here in Monrovia and that's not too far from you. Keep us posted.

I was thinking of ordering my Tokiko's from CustomMaxima, but the thing is I have to wait until the order has been filled.

There are definitely places near Glendale that do the lowering for around the same price that I paid for mine. Good luck.
How much was custommaxima's deal again including shipping?

ohboiya's actually got a good point. At the time when I bought my Toks, it was either those or nothing because I didn't know anyone with Konis and the KYB's were far away. Now you have more options...take the time to research before you buy. As for $345 shipped from custommaxima, I got mine for $330 shipped from shox.com so it's actually cheaper. Hmmm...

Hey T-Dogg,
What performance shocks do you have? I noticed you had 18" wheels. How does the ride feel when you drive over bumps? Especially funked up freeway bumps...Cause I also have 18" and I want to my ride to feel a bit smoother, especially towards bumps and stuff.
