Hey People,
I need some opinions, testimonials from you guys about waxes, glazes, compounds, clays and such to remove really nasty hard water stains from my clear coat. Before I got my garage at my new apt., the max was sitting outside and the sprinkler water is really high in mineral content. So I have he!!ish water spots. I used Dawn for the wash, and then Meguilars cleaner wax x 2coats. MUCH better but you can still see the outlines of the spots on the clear coat on the hood (the place it got it worst). Help appreciated. Do you think clay-ing is the only way to go?? Thanks

you'll get what you pay for.....and don't use Dawn weekly as it will pull all wax off finish. You must use a wash that is NOT alkaline based.......
