superchargers raise the shift area in autos.. (so i've heard) is this because of extra power? usually the car shifts around 6000-6100.. so, if you have a full custom exhaust with stock exhaust and intake would your shift area raise? or is this not enough power?

mine shifts at 6200 sometimes.... i have a y-pipe and OSCAI

I've seen it shift at 6400 a few times... don't know why it happens.

Slippage?!?!

man i dont know kev. is it better to have a hard shiftin auto that shifts at 6100rpms or a small lag auto that lags till 6400 and then shifts?

lag during a shift is bad.... it wears down your tranny faster....and then one day..... KABOOM
