Hello all!
My second car was a 1986 black 5spd maxima. I fell in love with everything from the quick response to the sexy female voice that told me "Your lights, are OooooN". Unfortunately, that maxima attracted its own demise, a girlfriend in the car business, and at her suggestion I let her sell my maxima. A decade of college later (and a sweet job as a rocket scientist) I gathered the money to get a bare 2000 GXE 5spd with the intent to personalize it as funds permit. Started with snow tires (dealer tires couldn't get me out of the driveway this winter), FSTB and of course the mesh guard (BTW galvanized steel works much better then the Aluminum stuff). Unfortunately the new girlfriend doesn't enjoy the "race car feel" as much as my other car (that has heated leather seats, Koni shocks, walnut trim, a smooth automatic transmission and an electric sunroof along with other luxuries). So I'm looking for the most luxury bang for the buck. Any ideas?

On another note could Jack Anderson PM me?

Well I'm glad you went for the 5-Speed. If you want to "luxerize" your car you could get a wood dash trim with a few modifications to it since they only make them for auto they are about 120.00 on ebay for entire kit. If you want leather you could also buy aftermarket seats cheaper than oem ones which are cheaper and can be installed yourself (try searching old posts there was one yesterday or two days ago I think).

Congrats on the new Maxima, I'm sure youll have lots of years of enjoyment of pleasure!!!
