I think one of my tweeters is blown. Is this covered under warranty, as there is no stop to the volume or any indicator telling you how high the volumen goes. Anybody blow one and get it covered under warranty?

I would imagine that it would be covered...but I have yet to hear of someone making hte attempt. I can easily understand how one would go....they don't sound very high quality. Let us know what the dealer says.
out.

I've blown my left tweeter in my bose system in my 2001 as well. I'm planning on taking it to the dealership for that and my tag in a few days. I'll get back to you and let you know what they say. Past experience was good with an Altima I had. They replaced the head unit and speakers and the car had over 30K on it. I had an extended warranty on it, but I doubt that made a difference. Anyways, I can let you know in a few days.

i didnt have a tweeter blow, I had my rear driver side speaker go out (i dont think it was working to begin with).

I took it to a dealer, and had to wait a week for the part to come in. I got it for free

I don't think the BOSE system is loud enough. I listen to my music on 10 and have yet to blow anything. I want it louder, thinking of adding an amp and sub. I want it louder!!!!

Anyone have problems with their Bose sub? When I turn the base anywheres up past the middle mark it makes this aweful rattling noise. It sounds like it's coming from the deck and not the speaker itself. I took it in to the dealer and they tried fixing it several times with no luck. I took the whole deck apart and it stopped making the noise. I put it back in after puting felt tape all over the places the TSB's said to put it and it still makes the noise.

HELP!!!!

I think I'm gonna go with Silvermist and put a nice big *** tube in.

Here's the directions on how to do it...

goto "electrical" and then to the bottom of the page.

All four of the screws are in nice and tight. It seems to me that the cloth deck cover may be rattling against the window but I'm not too sure.

Anyone else with the problem?
