I picked up some Nokya bulbs for my Max the other day and I was about to install them, but I read about some people have problems with burned out wires or lenses. Since the wattage went to 90/100 from 55/65, I realize the power has gone up but I'm wondering if anyone out there has had trouble with higher wattage bulbs frying the wiring or lenses? If I need the upgraded harness I can get it, but I just assume keep the $20 if it won't harm anything.

Yes get the harness. You will eventually burn the harness and will spend more to replace it then you intially spent for the upgrade. People may say they've been running high wattage bulbs for "x" months w/o a harness and say it's not worth it but they're the same people that post 2 or 3 months later saying it finally melted. Save the trouble and get the harness.

Can either one of you recommend a site to get the harness? I lost the link to the site where I saw it. Thanks.

Nevermind, I found the link. They may have them for cheaper somewhere, but they run 49.99 each at autobulbdepot.com. If you find them any cheaper let me know.
