it's real simple... pull it straight up.. a panel puller might help, just pry it til it pops off, and unplug the clock.. make sure you get under the trim piece, dont' pry it from where you see the clock, u gotta go under the whole thing... if you dont' have a panel puller use a slotted screwdirver, wrap it in cloth so you wont scratch up your dash.
i'm not in any way liable for physical damages to you or your car, attempt it at your own risk.

Mingo is right...just pull up on one end of the clock module. It takes effort, and feels like you might break it, but it will be okay. There is one clip at each end, on the side closest to you, and one in the center on the side closest to the windshield.

I am not sure of the gentleman's handle on the ORG, but this guy incorporated his radar detector lights into the clock display. See http://www.fourthrock.com/maxima/images/radar.jpg
I also have a pic of the wiring behind it.
If "Dan" would prefer me not to show the pics, let me know. Otherwise, I thought it was an great demonstration of skill and ingenuitiy.

It shows system voltage at the amps and battery also amp temp. so when they hit a temp the fans kick in. Basically the whole clock is gone along with the gray blocks on either side and the digital display is covered by tinted plexi.
