As far as I know, the GXE does not come with a badge designating that it is a GXE.... the GLE gets a silver badge and the SE gets a smoked badge

GXE bashing

Actually, if you're going to mod the car, it's better to start out with the base model. I got the 2000 SE, and since then I've replaced the rims and tires, and I plan to replace the struts\shocks and springs. Those are two major components that the GXE doesn't get. So I basically paid more for stuff I'm gonna replace anyways.

Good job, GXEr's.

I agree.... in retrospect if I knew I was going to mod the car, the GXE would have been a better base start perhaps.... oh well though

To say this honestly I agree with Tanmann I mean my car doesn't have mods so I don't count. In reality you guys do mod your car so much it doesn't matter whether its GXE, SE, or GLE it's kinda like just an ego booster, and remember I have an SE!

I hope you guys know I was just messing around. Really all the max's are the same. Only big diff being the tails. Your right the gxe alows for more money to be spent elsewhere. But I gotta have the carbonfiber lights, Even if you can buy um and put um on.
Nissan should give the se more power and something else. It seems like so many of there cars are becoming very very similar.
