Does anyone knows or has instrutions on how to remove the factory radio on a SE Maxima without the Bose? Please respond or email to deven@email.com. I have a Sony mini disc player and the single din dash kit and i want to install it myself.

Possibly a howto
Removing the stereo:
Grab the center air vent and pull upward and outward (toward you).. it'll sound horrid, but you aren't breaking anything...
Next (this is easy for the manual, I don't know about the auto) open up the coin holder and remove the pocket, remove the screw at the bottom of the opening. Use this mouth thing to help you remove the plastic part that it is attached to, on the manual, you can just grab at the back of the shifter and pull up.. this too will sound bad, but nothing is breaking..
Once that's out, there are 4 screws on the metal bracing you'll have to remove, 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom, there are small plastic stabalizers that will hold the stereo in place so that it won't fall off..
That's it.. be careful with the wires going to the climate control / cigarette lighter port.. Just like everything else, don't yank too much
Have fun!
