Ive got a 2k Max SE 5 speed with the CAI and Cattman Y-pipe. I was wondering how much a B-pipe would help when added to these mods. I think Id like to keep the stock muffler as I really dont care to make the car as loud as all seem to experience when they replace the stock setup. How loud is the car with a stock muffler and B-pipe (which removes the resonator)? Any performance gain? Id suspect any gain would be quite small. On my next dyno runs, I may test this out by doing a few runs with the exhaust disconnected completely after the cat and see what happens. I suspect a loss in low end, and some gain up top. Just how much we will see!

Madmax2k, I replaced my stock muffler and stock piping with 2.5" piping (no resonator..If the wife can't take it I'll put one in though)and a straight-through muffler (DynoMax Ultra Flo SS). It's louder but sounds nice IMO.
Let me know when u go to do your next dyno and I'll show up so that u can hear it.

I spoke to RT about prototyping a 2k cat. They are here in the Atlanta area. They said I could come by one afternoon and they would "see if one fit", and if not they could "make some adjustments". I have not done that yet...waiting on y-pipe first.
